clown tang swimming with one fin?

my clown tang has been swimming around with one fin since i gave him a freshwater dip with formulin,he is eating like crazy still and swimming around the tank perfectly but he is useing only one fin. how or why would that happen?

Could you have hurt him possible netting him? Do you see any marks on his body

When you say he is swimming with one fin do you mean one at a time or he uses the same one all the time?

Is this in your 30 gallon reef tank with the yellow tang that has ich? I'm also curious why you determined the clown tang needed a freshwater dip? Also, the clown tang is not a good choice for a beginner fish.

no it was just one fin all the time. white spots and ich are why i dipped him after i took him to the store and they said that would be best.he is doing fine now,i have had him for 6 months and i think i pretty much have it down to care for him. as for my yellow tang he is in my 60 gallon tank doing just fine.
