clown triggerfish and picasso triggerfish

Hi guys
Looking for some information, Is it possible to keep a clown triggerfish and a Picasso triggerfish in the same tank. I have a 450l corner tank.plenty rock and hiding places

Clowns are cute and somewhat sane when they are juvies but go crazy as they get bigger

Go for the picasso- too small a tank for a clown- especially if you want to try to mix is with other fishes.

A clown triggers mature they tend to go psycho. Mixing other fish with them will not work.

I'm doing it right now and it's working. Honestly having them both has been oddly beneficial because neither runs the tank. Their aggression towards each other is minimal and each others presence decreases their aggression to other nicer fish. I will note that they are the same size.

From your profile, they are small in a medium sized tank. A couple of years from now . . . when they mature, it will not work.

There is a fully grown one in a good size cylindrical tank at a restaurant near me (tank is probably 1000 gallons). All it does is swim in one direction as fast as it can, round and round. It is in there with a Clown Tang, Sohal Tang, huge Porcupine Puffer, and some other fairly aggressive fish. All other fish seem "normal" though. I do think psycho applies here towards the Clown Trigger.

I would not recommend a clown triggerfish in a 450 litre tank (120G)

They need more like a 700L tank TBQH (180G)

180 gallons is ok (marginally) as a species tank with only a mature clown trigger but tank mates won't be happy.
