Thought I would let you in on some of my latest experiences,
I recently had a problem with parasites, yes parasites, when nothing new was added to my tank. I later determined that my uv sterilizer bulb was blown for who knows how long and I had an outbreak. Every fish in my tank got sick and those that didnt act sick were still covered in white spots, etc. I decided not to treat the tank as I have many invertebrates also. I used what a friend recommended to me. It is called Garlic Extreme. You mix the liquid in their food and in bad cases put drops in the tank as well, it is all natural potent garlic and two days later my fish were clearing up. It is a miracle cure for them. Try it if you haven't already!!!! It is expensive, about twenty bucks for a small bottle but worth every penny. I have no doubt in my mind that I would have easily lost some of my fish if I hadn't used it. One week later not a single spot on any of my fish.The tank smells like garlic but my fish have never been healthier!!! My girlfriend used it for a sick clown with ich and it was cured in two days. It helps their immune systems and when used in combination with a UV sterilizer you can't lose. Good for both parasites and bacterial infections. Let me know if it works for you.

I have used Garlic Extreme, Selcon, and UV for some time now. In fact, I just bought another bottle of G.E. from Rich yesterday.I am currentlt battling ick on my Regal tang- no one else in the tank has caught it- going on 3 weeks now. besided the garlic, I used "Kick Ick". The ich just comes and goes on him!
