clown with Ich, will this work?

Ok before you all start biting my head off here's the deal.

Have a 5-7G (not sure which weird dimentions) acrylic tank that i set up as a nano reef (it's temp - i have a brand new 24G Aquapod that he will be going in, in the closet just waiting for the stand now). There is about 11 LBS live rock and a cleaner shrimp in there with a DSB. i'm running an aquaclear 50 and 2 powerheads in there. I've been having a hard time finding clowns around here, and low and behold found one last Friday that was a true perk. So i nabbed him. It came from a fish store that has a filtration system that goes to every tank and they have add / do have ich now. I got this guy home and gave him a 45 minute formalin dip and he's been eating great. Hope up this am and he had white spots on his fins and a few on his body. Looked like ich. So i got some tank water and added the formaline for another dip and drained 50% of the water and stuck on my 18W coralife UV Sterilizer with a 106GPH pump (which is recommended for killing everything at that GPH). If i do a 50% water change every day / other day and the UV, will that take care of this stupid disease? thanks in advance.

I think typing broke down right where we need info. Translate: "they have add /do have ich now".

But don't do a 50% water change. That won't help: it may actually stress the fish by altering the ph. Best test your water for the following, and I'll give the best readings beside the item, so you can see where you ought to be:
ph 8.3
alkalinity 8.3
nitrite/nitrate/ammonia 0.
temperature 78-80, rock solid on some reading.
Your UV sterilizer ought to help a lot.
Keep him eating and keep his water conditions stable at the good readings.

ph 8.2
alk 9
SG 1.025
ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10ppm
temp 79

today he is acting normal and the uv is irradicating hopefully all ich. How long should i use this uv for. it's rated by manufacturer for up to a 250G tank, like stated it's on either a 5-7G tank.
