I have 2 clowns .......they have been together for 4 yrs ( I have adopted em) and one is a real FATTY ......He would eat to teh point of actually having a distended belly and float at the top like he was dead. Well according to my buddy this was normal for him hes been doing it for quite a while. I even cut back food but this Fatty would hunt down all the food just to get to that point.
Well the smaller of the 2 got white stringy "poo" that hung around to great lengths until falling off. During this time of course "slim" was not eating but "pooping " her brains out This lasted for about 2 to 3 days. Now shes a real eater again .....and you guessed it "Fatty" is now with this condition and is not eating and Im 3 days into this . His respirations are faster and of corse he seems lethargic. Hes not interested in flake food or frozen shrimp. I did get the suck in spit out a couple of times. Im gonna try mincing garlic tonight.
Any Ideas?.....Everyone else in my tank is just fine My parameters are spot on ....and I just did my weekly 10% water change yesterday
( I posted in clowns forum as well)
