\Clownfish/ 29 Gallon BioCube Tank

Love the aquascape clown, it's cool how it looks like it's a cave in the middle

Thank you Spineless :)

So the new pieces are ORA Red Gonipora, Orange ricordea, Blue ricordea, Radioactive Green Zoas. You might have noticed the Xenia has spread on one side of the rock, which is ok for now but once it starts going to far ill start cutting them off and selling them off again. I also have a nother pieces of Xenia on the sand by recently fragged the darn thing so its a bit stressed so there is no picture. Green start Polyps have spread all through its own rock which I love and is doing amazing like everything else. Rastas has grown more than the fruit loops and the yellow octospawn is getting larger and larger. Torch corals are as big as an orange with fully open but shrunk when lights turned blue.

Just a quick question clown or anyone else with a torch, would you recommend it to those who are new to the hobby?

torches are easy and provide some great color and movement. I would totally recommend them to a beginner as I am one and mine is thriving...

Thank you everyone :celeb2:

@spineless i agree with soulpatch. Theyre amazing to look at and provide tons of color and movement. They also seem to like the dirty water. I have noticed that when im due for a WC they are fully extended! I think theyre great for begginers :) this is acutally my first tank with coral, i use to have a 55 back in 2010 with fish only but had to sell so i could go to college.

Ok so you guys convinced me to get one when my cycle is done, was just told they are much more delicate than frogspawns and hammer. I'm going to ask my coral guy to keep an eye out for a torch like these two ImageUploadedByTapatalk1431167730.068144.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1431167745.220737.jpg

Looking real good clown!! I'm currently looking for a torch also. I need something on the other side of my tank.

I'm so jealous of that octo.

Aussie/hammer makes a good color pop too. Saw one in a LFS that was HUGE, It was definitely the main focal point in the tank.

My favorite euphyllia corals are a maze hammer, with pink tips and green body. The maze ones are really cool how they grow in one contiguous skeleton. Harder to frag, but it really looks awesome, and they can get huge over a long time.

Will have to check some hammers out as well. I am looking at acans and mushrooms as well. Hopefully i get something this week or the next.

I am on a bit of an acan kick right now myself. They are small and easy to place in our nano cubes but they have a ton of color and are neat to watch when eating.

I will be stopping at my LFS to look at these three he just posted:

>_> jealous

I consider it payment for digging post holes for my fence, carrying all the fence panels and posts around to the back of my house, and installing everything by myself. My wife cant complain with this purchase.

Plus I have a half day with a dental appointment today so I can sneak them into the house before she gets home...
