Clownfish Abuse

Hey have a Picasso and a platinum clown, that are in a 14g biocube, only fish in there, and they have been fighting it out to see who is the dominant one. Got both fish from smae tank same breeder so they are not both female. How long does the abuse take on average before they will chill out some. Been over a month now

They're not fighting. They're trying to size up to determine who will be the dominant female. Read up on Clownfish mating rituals.

My only experience is with clowns that are noticeably different in size when I pair them. Are they equivalent?

They may never stop, do you know for certain that they are not females? Mine established dominance within a day but I also had an existing female and introduced a very small known male.
