Clownfish Acting Funny

I just added a purple LTA to my aquarium for an a. ocellaris clown that I have had for about 7 months. It took him about 30min to find the anemone and swim through the tentacles, however, he would never stay for long. I catch him in it when I wake up in the mornings and when the lights go off at night. I can see him with the moonlights in the anemone, and when I come in the room I catch him in it, but he never stays while I can see him. It is like he is ashamed to be in it with me in the room. Has anyone else's clown acted like this? Is it normal? Thanks for all the help.

She sees you and comes out into the water column to look for food. when you come so does the food so She knows that she has a good chance of geting food out in the water column?

that or its is just one of the things she likes to do clowns are funny that way

Thanks for your reply GSMguy. The night after I posted here, I caught her sleeping in the nem and now she won't stray too far from it. I think it helps that I feed the tank on the side of the tank with the nem. Thanks again.
