I have a pair of occ. clownfish. This morning their LTA fell victim to a power head.
I changed some water and added fresh carbon. It looked like it just happened when we saw it as the water in the tank looked pretty clear. The rest of the tank seems normal (LPS, SPS, clam, fish, etc...).
Anyway, just this evening, the male is up at the surface of the water swimming sideways like he is having swim bladder problems. The fish has been in the tank for 5-6 months and has never done anything like this.
He did eat (frozen), he seems fine when he swims away from the surface and occasionally he will chase off a green chromis if they get too close. The female is acting normal but will swim up and check on the male every once in a while.
I don't see any sign of illness, he just doesn't look good. Depression from the lost of the host?
