Clownfish and Anemone Only tank

Wow, I'm glad everything survived! I had the opposite problem a few weeks ago, although it was operator error(I knocked the heater plug out turning the filter off for a feeding and didn't notice for 24 hours...on the coldest night of the year!)
Gorgeous pictures!

Looking great! I'm doing kind of the same thing with my 155 bow - got a ways to go on the BTAs but I have a good start, 16 and counting. None real big yet though. I'm also trying to add a couple little shroom gardens too.

I agree with buk - can't get tired of looking at the nem/clown tanks either!

Check out the sticky above on mobert's aquarium. She had dozens of clowns in a tank for like 5 years. For all I know the tank's still up. The field of green and red btas is most striking.

I thought clowns that are born and raised together can live together. Is the tank too small when they get bigger?

edit: I saw the sticky as well

I wish that thread was removed as a sticky. It is a dangerous thread when someone reads the title, sees a few pictures, but doesn't read or understand the unrealistic long-term future of all the fish. I believe she has lost several fish due to aggression.

It is more feasible for fish from the same next to cohabitate longer together because they are all the same age, and therefore there is no domiant female in the bunch to start. Eventually, one will emerge, and during/after there will be carnage. Even 3 clowns in a single tank most times ends up being just 2.

The OP is correct in the approach of 'it looks cool for now", but is already working on an exit plan to get rid of all but a pair (hopefully).
