Just out of curiosity, after receiving a medium sized pair of occ. how long does it typically take for them to become sexually active and spawn?

There is no science to that answer as it could be months to years. Generally females can lay eggs around 3" in size and makes can fertilize eggs as young as 6 months old.

Depending on type of clownfish too my maroon started spawning at around 5" 1/2 and my cinnamon at 4"... Have an ocellaris c.b. Black snowflake who have been together 2 years in uncle's aquarium and they are just one starting to show mating interest after a whole year in my tank. Female is around 3" now but it's mostly the male who's exhibiting mating behavior.... Like perpendicular shaking and a cleaning frenzy on two spots he really likes.
