Clownfish Broodstock Setup

OK, thanks again to Travis L. Stevens. Just an overview of the old system. The leftside 40 Breeder was eventually divided into 3 sections and towards the end was housing (1)Picasso, Pair of Naked Ocellaris, Pair of Orange and Pink Skunks and (2) Pair of Ocellaris. The rightside 40 Breeder was housing (1) True Perc female and (2) Pair of B & W Ocellaris. All were seperated in knitting type dividers w/in the tank dividers. They were very cramped.

This is what my livingroom looked like the morning I ran to 2 differnet stores to be able to by the 14 tanks (bought extra in case one or more cracked during drilling). Ended up with 9 drilled tanks and returned the other 5.

Ya, tell me about it she had been at work since 5 am and I was full of energy and told her that we were going to start drilling. She gave me an evil look and started to rub her eyes.

Using Travis's idea I used a 40 breeder as the sump, and had a constant water flow via a Maxi-Jet 600. Thanks again "DIY" Man.

Well I love this picture because it shows our newly acquired little helper, Titus. Needless to say he sat there for about 15 seconds realized I was busy and began to chew on my feet.

The hardest part of the whole build was putting this all together on the driveway. I can only imagine what the people driving by thought.

All done, not all the front and rear 2X4s lined up but for the most part the shelves were leveled. In the picture the driveway is not 100% level and the stand appears to lean. The right front 2X4 is not placed on yet because still had to transfer the sump and it was placed on after transfer.

Im currently attempting to put the lighting system on because I did not like the dark look it was putting off. I will have more pics up Friday/Saturday and will try and post some decent pics of the livestock. Hope this holds everyone over until then. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will try and answer them.
