Clownfish Chilling Spot

I recently bought a Darwin Clownfish and all it does is chill in the back of the tank next to the powerhead. I was told that it's normal - Is there anyway to get it to move to a different spot (anywhere that's not the back of the tank)? maybe a mate or an anemone?

Even with a mate, they still will pick their own spots. In my last tank, my pair hosted in the back right corner and when I moved them to a new larger tank, where did they go? The back right corner. If it's happy where its at, I say leave it be. It will come to the front when you walk up to the tank once it learns that you're presence means feeding time.

That's totally normal behavior. My b/w male would float sideways at the surface behind a powerhead. Yours may explore more as it adjusts to new surroundings, or the addition of another clown. If thinking of adding another clown, get as small a juvie as possible. & it's suggested to let a tank mature for at least 6 months before adding an anemone. Good luck & welcome to Reef Central!
