Clownfish choking on piece of bubble algae - what do I do?

Hey guys,

I have a clownfish in my tank that likes to try out anything it sees. I've watched him nip on some pieces of bubble algae before, but never thought anything of it. Just now, as I was doing some housekeeping in the tank, a piece of bubble algae broke loose and he tried to eat it. It was just big enough to get in his mouth, but now he can't seem to get it out. What do I do?

Thanks and worried,
Austin

Unfortunately not much you can do. I had a similar issue. He worked it out on his own and finally spit it out then ate it again. Good luck.

Thanks guys. It's moved closer to the opening of his mouth so he may be working it out. The bubbles are too solid to be able to poke.
