Clownfish Don't Sleep?

How do these guys spend the night? Mine seems to just hover at the top of the tank. Shouldn't they be motionless resting on the bottom?

Mine goes to the back corner and does his slow wiggle at the glass. I have a few others that slowly swim around all night.

I've got a percula that likes to spend the nights laying sideways on the surface of the water in a corner, near a return loc-line.

Hmmm

Hmmm

Ive been wondering this too... I bought a pair and they seem to swim a higher flow area of the tank at night.. Right in front, where my return bounces off the glass. Question, though: I have a marine land LED light fixture, and I rewired it so the actinics stay on at night... The 'moon light' shouldn't be a problem, right?

Now one of my pair sleeps wrapped up in the anemone. It's the funniest thing to watch, it looks so comfortable!

Someone's in the doghouse... Now he's on the couch! Lmao

Mine sleep in a few toadstool frags in the corner. Pretty much motionless. The restless fish in my tank is a naso who paces all night

I have a sebae black clown, and a Oc. Clown, who go their seperate ways with the lights on, but seem to pair and sleep in a low spot at the bottom where a power head blows on them.

I have an Orbiculate Cardinal who does not seem to sleep.

My large, over 7" Royal Blue Tang stays wedged in a rock cave the entire time the lights are off!

i have a few pairs of clowns in diff tanks. the 1st pair of oc clowns just swim in place next to their host coral. my second pair are s'mores, used to sleep at the surface. but i think that was do to my coral banded shrimp. cause now i have removed the cbs from the tank and the now they sleep close to the bottom of the tank. IME my s'mores were either being hunted/harrassed at night. and my 3rd pair sleep in their 3" pvc pipe.
