clownfish egg placement

My Clarkii clown pair have recently begun to spawn and I have read just about every post on here and other places to learn about and how to possible raise some of the fry in the future. The only real question I still have is how to encourage the clowns to lay their eggs on a removeable item like a small rock, a peice of tile, etc. so they would be easy to remove. Should I place something like that in the area that they normally lay eggs and see if they go for it on the next go around? Any suggestions would be helpful...thanks!

They have a mind of their own. Whatever place they feel comfortable, they will lay it there. But yes, just place the removable item (small rock or tile) where they laid eggs the last time around. But remember, they may or may not lay again, because that small rock/tile you just added is new to them. So it might take them so time to decided a new place to lay their eggs. Good luck!!
