I have a 29g tall with a large carpet anemone and 2clowns hosting been a year. they paired up right away when they were introduced.but its taken a year till they started to lay eggs.they have layed eggs 3 times in the last two months.they takecare of them good for the first 3 or 4 days but over night the eggs dissappear.the only other creatures in the tank are 2 small pepermint shrimp,3small blue leg hermits a large turbo and large asterial snail could any of those be the thiefs,or could it be the carpet,I know one of their tasks is to fan the anemone away a bit cause they lay the eggs on rock next to it.any advice or experiances would be appretiated.

Could be the shrimp or crabs... or could be the parents. Its not the nem. How well fed are your critters? Next time they lay eggs, overfeed the tank for a week and see if that yields better results.
