Total Fish: 2 clownfish

I got my first clownfish about 3 months ago, and my second about a month ago. The newest fish seems to nibble or bite on the smaller shy clown. The bigger clown chases the smaller around the tank then twitches and the smaller one twitches back. I'm aware this is a good sign of them pairing. I feed once a day, usually 5 pellets each, sometimes when I'm super busy, I feed every 2 days, which is rare. I should probably add the bigger and newest clown is very territorial, but they seems to swim together when they sleep. They swim up and down the side of the tank or to the current.

I have the following questions:
1. How long does it take for the clown to pair and stop fighting?
2. Am I feeding my clown enough since they seems to fight during feeding?

I sometimes feed in two seperate areas. I take a bit and tease one and drop it then quickly drop a bit more toward the other one. That way they both get to eat. Part of paring is to understand who eats first, the female.

It takes a bit for the smaller one to get used to cut back feeding and being subservient to the female. Then they will eventually eat together and he will know what to eat and what not to eat.

With mine the female gets mad at the male if it eats first.

My two are the same my female likes to feed first. The male will quickly grab some food and quickly dart off and if hes unlucky and the females catches him she will let him butt him to let him know she decides when he eats. Generally when she is getting full she will allow the male to have freerain.

How many pellets do you guys usually feed each? I do about 5-7 each a day. They are both juveniles.

I target feed. I soak there food in selcon then I grab a couple of pellets at a time and feed untill they start spitting it out or showing no interest.
