Clownfish getting fat?

I wrote a forum earlier about my clowns digging up sand. Today the biggest one looks fatter than usual. Could this mean it is going to be laying eggs or just ate to much?

Time will tell. :)

My tomatoes are non-stop excavators. They build trenches between different rock caves. I had no idea that they would do this, so I'm glad I have a DSB for them in a 100g.

Ya just sit and wait. I've thought about siphoning all my sand out and going BB.

if they are going to lay eggs how long do they take to lay? Also just in the past couple of days the female clownfish has been really mean to the male? Any ideas why this would be happening?

There is no time limit as to when she will lay , it`s all up to her . Have they been picking and cleaning a certain area ? They are having a dominance role to tell the male she is boss .

Yea right at the bottom of the tank near some rock they have been digging up the sand constantly. But I dont know if they are cleaning it.

I mean as cleaning a rock or surface to lay the eggs on . Put a tile in the tank for her to lay eggs on . They need a flat vertical surface on a slight angle .

I think they just like tearing up the tank. I have a female Tomatoe Clown that does this, but she's the only one in the tank now..so unless it's immaculate conception which I've never heard of in fish ???? HA HA
