Clownfish Have Brooklynella...Can I do This?

I recently got a pair of TR Ocellaris clowns whom, after 1 week in QT and 1.5 weeks in my DT, have developed Brooklynella. They are getting a whiteish fuzz over the heads and eyes however, they are still eating like ravenous beasts and are not showing any increased respiratory needs. So, I know it's not ich and I am about 95% sure it's Brooklynella.

My question it, since I tore my QT back down, is there any reason I can't just take 2 gallons from my DT in a bucket, treat the clowns with Quick Cure, let them be for a few hours then release them back in the DT? I would just take 2 gallons from my 20 gallon DT in bucket and treat for an hour then put back into the DT.

The main reason I ask about the bucket treatment is because I have to work in 3 hours and won't be able to set up the QT with enough aged water in time so I'm looking for something to treat them quick until I get home tonight.

Yes , a formalin dip will help. It may take more than one. How much formaldehyde is in quick cure % wise?

Quick Cure is mixture of Malachite Green and Formalin. Formalin by definition is 37% formaldehyde by mass or 40% by volume.

Thanks Randy. I thought it was about a 37% formaldehyde mix but wasn't sure.
Then 1 ml of quick cure per 1.2 gallons of tank water in a bucket with a small powerhead should work nicely as a 50 minute bath. Formalin 3 by Kordon which I use is <3% formaldehyde and would take 10 ml per gallon for a bath treatment.

Well, I haven't lost either clown yet and they are still eating very well. Tuesday I did the first 1 hour Formalin dip in a bucket with a good pump and they looked pretty good after. Then Wednesday I did another hour long formalin dip and they looked good. Today, however, their fins are getting white "slough" on them. They are still very active, not rubbing against rocks, not breathing faster, still eating a ton, and look ok. With that being said I am going to give another hour long Quick Cure bath in a few minutes with hopes of wiping the Brooklynella out.

On a side note, I am using 2 gallons of tank water and, per directions on the Quick Cure bottle, I am only putting 2 drops in the bucket (it's 2 gallons of water). The bottle says to use 1 drop per gallon for marine fish. Should I increase the dosage at all for this third treatment?

Also, thanks for all of the info and help everyone. I really want to keep these clowns alive as they are super cool looking and eat right out of my hand.

Personaly.I would not go higher than the 1 drop per gallon.
