Clownfish hosting more than one anemones?

I have a pair of picasso clownfish and two Sherman Rose BTA (SRBTA) about 2 ft apart in a 75 gallons DT. The pair will host both anemones and dart between the two anemones. Some night they slept in the same anemone and some night they slept in seperate anemone. Is this normal behavior?

as far as i have read it is, i think its good to have multiple things clownfish can host..mainly so they dont beat the nems up too bad..my clowns host nems, toadstool, and frogspawn all throughout the day, but they sleep in the gbta..

Mine used to sleep in separate anemones sometimes. The male would take the 8" nem and the female would take the 3" nem. When they started laying eggs they slept in the same 2" anemone right next to their clutch of eggs... well not really, but they had their faces in it.

I got a black and white ocellaris and a regular ocellaris and they both share a RBTA and a GBTA that are about 3 feet apart

This is the female with the SRBTA.

Hello, I have had freshwater tanks for years but just got my 1st salt tank 6 months ago. I want to add a nem for my 2 clowns. Will they share 1 nem or should I really have a nem per clown? I've been looking at a carpet, and/or a long tentacle. Any advice. Thanks!!

My mated maroons are hosted by two bta's but are both within tentacle reach

Ive also a male/female pink skunks hosed by 2 ritteri @4 feet apart and theyll swim over and chase each other through their nems when bored

They will share an anemone if you only have one.

I have 6 bta's and my clowns go back and fourth between 4 of them.
