Hey i got a pair of snowflake clowns at my LFS a few days back and they're doing great. Im just wondering if they are real legit snowflake clowns because i got the pair for 125. Saw online that their not that cheep. So help there and how should i help them host the green bubble tip hem. When i first put them in they ran into it and was hosting it for about a day or two now nothing. What should i do? Or is it a natural thing? Thanks for the help. No matter how long ive been doing this i feel like a noob. /Users/Nick/Pictures/iPhoto Library.photolibrary/Previews/2012/12/30/20121230-172925/XEBPJjdiQmWCd1TT3r8qLQ/IMG_0076.JPG

From my phone they appear to be snowflakes. They may not be one of the "high-grade" snowflakes, but they are A. ocellaris (which snowflakes are). Firstly, the anemone hosts the clowns, not the other way around. For them to associate, there is no 100% way to make it happen. BTAs are not the natural host anemone of ocellaris clownfish, which will make the association difficult for some. I suggest giving them time as, some take a few weeks to months to take to the nem.

thanks for the help. Ill read up more on the nem and try to make the best environment for the little guys. Thanks again! Also feeding advise. Im doing frozen brine but they seem to like flake food more. Any experiences? Brands of frozen brine i should try?
