Clownfish ID

I purchased this fish from my LFS and was told it was an Ocellaris Clownfish. I liked it because of how dark it was. I'm going to be purchasing another clownfish, and after looking further it looks like it might actually be a juvenille black and white ocellaris.

Any thoughts? When do they start to turn black? The clown I currently have has been alone for quite some time, and although young - is probably transition to female (my best guess anyways). So, I want to make sure I get a young enough fish to avoid any issues.

If I just got a juvenille orange ocellaris would I have any issues with them pairing?

Thanks!

Looks like a Mocha clown. They're a mix of regular orange ocellaris and a black and white ocellaris. This looks like a Mocha to me. No problems pairing with any of the ocellaris or Perculas

Nice! I think I will order a True Perc to go along with mine. Where did you get your pair from? Is there a reputable vendor that has them?

Shifty one of our members. I traded him for my Gold Stripe Maroon pair. My female was destroying my tank so she had to go. He gave me the pair that I have and a RBTA in exchange for my Maroon pair. There is a thread on it somewhere in this forum, just don't remember how far back it is.

I keep hoping that they'll take one of my BTA's as a host. They were both swimming in the BTA when we were driving home, but haven't looked at them since going into my tank. The female is starting to nuzzle up with my purple candy cane, SOOOOO I put the candy cane between my two BTA's hoping she will figure it out. I'm sure if I had a carpet anemone they would have gone right in. I just don't want an anemone taking up half of my tank LOL

Ah I found it :D
