Clownfish in coral

hey everyone i have two Black and White Clowns that are hosting my gonipora coral and it really hasn't been able to come out as much as it should because my clown is always preventing it. I have a bubble tip anemone who has pretty much taken up residence about 5 inches away from it. is there any way i can get them away from the coral into the anemone, its my favorite coral and i dont want the clown to accidently kill it. Im thinking about getting a carpet anemone for them but idk which is safer because i know they can have a tendency to eat them. any suggestions to get the clown in the nem would be highly apprieciated.

I would get a plastic cage like the ones they sell strawberries in and cover the goni for a while so the clowns don't kill it. maybe in that time they will find a new host, but really there is nothing you can do to make the clowns go into the anemone, they will do what they want.

I had a really nice flowerpot I had to return because my clown was loving it to death. I have a smaller flowerpot frag that it moved on to almost immediately after I removed the other. This one doesn't seem to mind as much because all the polyps are usually fully extended unless the clown gets spooked and swims into it too fast. He will go crazy after eating and do a sort of wiggle dance in the coral which causes it to retract a bit. I thought about doing the egg crate cage over it but the way it woulook in my tank didn't appeal to me and I figured he'd just go right back to it as soon as the cover was removed.

I have seen clowns hosting them before and there was no damage to them. But I am guessing it all depends on the gonipora. The ones that I have seen were the red ones gonipora.

I have a neon green one but I'm highly considering putting a strawberry basket over it. Just hope the clowns don't move to the hammer coral

My clowns host my frogspawn and it doesn't mind at all......but they did kill my bright yellow gonipora trying to host it. My female would actually suck the tentacles in her mouth and spit them back out repetitively. I didn't get it covered in time.
