Hi!
I've been concidering breeding clownfish for a while and I know most of the things I need to know but one thing that has been a little confusing to me is what to feed the larvae when they are in their own tank...
I was wondering if I could feed Baby Brine Shrimp to them... but I am open to suggestions... but when suggestions are made, make sure to include how to do it...

Thanks

I think the best thing is live rotifers for the first couple of weeks and then you can move up to baby brine. I too recently started breeding clownfish. I ordered a culture kit to raise rotifers from www.florida-aqua-farms.com They also sell live rotifers by the quart. The kit comes with an amazing book on how to culture rotifers, micro algae, brine, copepods and more. Good luck with the clowns!

Yup, you'll need to start them on rotifers as a first food for about a week or so before they will be big enough to feed on freshly hatched brine shrimp nauplii. Florida Aqua Farms also sells a good book on clownfish culture as well as their excellent plankton culture manual that zeagle23 mentioned.
