Clownfish mating?

I have 2 false percula clowns in my 120. I have a male and female and they have recentely taken to my haitian pink tip anemone. I have recently observed the male violently twitching. I am just wondering if this is a mating ritual or if my fish even have a chance of mating.

I don't mean to hijack, but I've had the same thing going on for like 2 weeks now. Once they start doing this, do they always form a pair and mate? If so, about how long does it take for them to start laying eggs? How big do the fish have to be before they start mating (mine are about 1.5 inches)?

Yeah, the twitching is submissive behavior. It means they have already paired. It doesn't have anything to do with mating. Honestly, I don't think clowns really have any sort of unique mating ritual.

the larger clown will become a female and the smaller one is a male. the female is showing her dominance.
