I'm just getting started with my first saltwater tank, so be gentle.
I have two ocellaris clownfish that I had in my tank before my anemones (long-tentacle anemone and bubble-tip). The clownfish haven't started hosting, and don't seem to have any interest in doing so.
Is there typically any amount of time that it takes for a clownfish to start hosting with an anemone? Is there any downside to it not hosting?
