Clownfish pairing and QT

Hello all,

I am planning to order 2 (not mated -- one "small" and one "medium") of tank bred, Ocellaris clownfish from liveaquaria. I have 4 10g QT tanks ready.

Is it better to introduce the pair into the same QT tank, or should I separate them and introduce them together in the DT after QT? (DT is 210g)

I'm still a relative n00b at this, so any other advice you want to impart is much appreceated :-)

Thanks much,

-Ian

No reason to keep them separate unless one of them comes in with something you need to treat for that you wouldn't other wise. Generally, clowns are pretty hardy. If it were two different kinds of fish and one of the two was more prone to disease than the other, then I would separate. Having 2 QT tanks set up is twice as much work. If one of them gets sick, then separate.

If it were me, I'd QT them together.

why are you QT'ing Cb clowns for? most ppl dont unless you know the source had probleams before. i know i QT my WC clowns. can you post your QT method? do you medicate?
