Clownfish Problems, Pics, Not dial-up friendly

I fed the qt tonight with a mix of cyclops and brine soaked in garlic. He wasn't quite as aggressive when feeding, but he did get a bit to eat.

I also added a mix of pimafix and melafix to hopefully help out a little bit.

I am going to try to get some good pics tomorrow afternoon and see how he is doing.

Stop with the pellets to much effort to crush them. Use flake. careful of the melafix and perafix. I tried it on fungus and I swear the fish died after I added it.

You're better off with a broad spectum antibiotic then the tea oil in the perafix. Also garlic is a natural anti viral. As odd as it may sound might wanna try adding some oregano which is anti microbial too.

I never thought about that with the pellets cuz they are the hikari small bites. I try not to use the pellets or flake very often. I have a wide variety of frozen foods in the fridge that I normally feed. While they are in QT I have been feeding at least once a day something different each day. Whenever it is a frozen food, it gets soaked in garlic for about 30 minutes or so.
I am hoping that they make it, I hate to lose fish let alone multiples.

In my opinion, feed whatever they eat 3 times a day. They are stressed and need resources. Siphon left overs and waste 30mins after feeding.

I have a SeaChem Ammonia Alert badge hanging in there just to give me a heads up. I siphon out all the leftover food as Scott just said, and I have been doing a small water change once a day to keep the water stable.
Water is down to 1.010 now and PH is about 8.2/8.3 and stable. The fish are all looking ok and hopefully this will help out a bit.
Unfortunately, melafix and pimafix are all I have that "may" help right now. With me leaving next week, our funds are kind of tight right now.
Next weeks forecast calls for lots of sand and well over 100 degree weather.

Sorry to hear that you're gonna have to leave your fish in such a trying time. I know that when my Ocellaris were sick, I was frantic, getting back to my room as quickly as possible after class or whatever just to check on them.

I wish you best of luck...with the fish and otherwise. I thank you, sir.

Yeah, my wife is sure gonna have her hands full. We have 3 established tanks plus the QT for her to take care of, not to mention a 75 gallon and a 55 gallon that are waiting to get set up eventually.

I really just need to get one really big tank and combine almost everything into that.

I know what you mean about constantly checking. Between being on here and dealing with the QT, my wife has come to the point where she has given up on complaining. Now it is her turn though as I am showing her everything that she needs to do to upkeep all the tanks and such while I am gone.

I'll be alright over there, I think I have the wife talked into taking pictures and emailing them so that I can see how everything is going. Been over there before, so I know whats going on. All I have to do is adjust to the heat again.

Well, got down to hypo the other day and have been monitoring the water closely to make sure it is good. Both clowns are up and swimming together again. When he was looking sickly, they wouldn't be together that much at all. He still has some red behind his stripe, but his personality seems to be improving, so I am hoping that so is his health.
Been busy lately, so haven't had time to get on and post an update. Will try to update a bit before I head out. Showed my wife where the thread was located also.
