clownfish question!

i heard in another post that clown fish fight if they are not introduced to the tank together. What if i grow out my current clownfish and buy a smaller one later?

I think you will be ok. You will probably see some aggression at first. I suggest keeping an eye on them though. But IMO they will likely work it out. There is a pair in my gallery, that (if I remember correctly) took about a week or so before they were comfortable together. However, when things get stressed in the tank, cleaning, moving things around, the female will still occationally show some aggression and kick the male out of the anemone. Once things settle down, things are back to normal.

They will fight...but it is only to establish who is female and who is male. Don't worry! Go ahead and get a smaller one it will be the male. I just bought one. (a smaller false purcla)

I placed a 2nd clarki in my tank and they are fine. As long as the new one stays out of the old ones favorite spot for a while they will be fine.
