Clownfish Separation

I have two ocellaris clown fish that always were together - they even slept right next to each other in the same anemone.

Then, I had some sort of disease strike my tank so i pulled out all the fish to QT with meds while the tank ran fallow for 12 weeks (the clowns were inseparable in QT). I put the fish back in a few days ago and the larger clown immediately went to the anemone. The smaller one tried to come near like always but was briefly attacked. So now the large one lays in the anemone and the smaller one hangs out about 3-4in from it sleeping in the current. The large clown has not attacked him since the first incident.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Give them some time, the small one has to be submissive to the big one,and wait until the larger one accepts him again. she might charge at him once in a wile . they go crazy over nems.

That's common. As suggested above, give them time. Eventually they will share the anemone.
