Clownfish shaking/shimmying

Hello all,
Over the last few days I have noticed my clownfish (Percs) shaking or shimmying. Hopefully someone else has seen this before and can maybe better articulate the behavior I am trying to describe.

As far as my parameters are concerned, most everything is at standard levels. However my ALK may be in the high side at 11dKH. I just did a 20 percent water change two days ago. Any ideas?

That is normal clownfish submission/dominance ritual. As long as they are not attacking each other, I would not be worried.

OH NO!! You have some clownfish with epilepsy...Just kidding. You're seeing the beginnings of typical clownfish bonding behavior. It's totally normal. Just keep an eye out for fighting & torn fins.

Yup, they are figuring out who will be dominate (and become female). Normally the one who twitches first is submitting to the other. Once dominance is established you will have one male and one female...and then later they can do the nasty and have frys (babies)!! Can I have some frys with that shake!! Ha ha.

As mentioned, just keep an eye out for fighting.
