Clownfish Spawning

This is my first time ever owning a pair of clowns ever in the 16 years I have been in the hobby. I noticed this afternoon they were doing the little mating dance. This is a little weird seeing how I put them into the new tank only last week, they have been together for 4-5 months before this though. The male is an Orange Occelaris and the female is a Black Occelaris. There are no eggs as of now, but maybe soon. I don't know if the fish are to young still. But I have a few questions for you guys that have bred clowns. First question where is a good place to learn the info on raising the fry? any good books or threads on here that I missed? and secondly anyone know what the fry would look like with this parent combo? Is this where the onyx line comes from?

They could also be establishing dominance, but it looks like your on the way to a pairing. Unfortauntely raising the fry is a bit of a difficult and expensive task. At first it requires a small aquarium to basically hatch and grow the fish, they must be fed multiple times per day with live rotifers which means someone has to be home at all times or at least throughout the day, then when they start to outgrow the original tank they must be separated into larger tanks. It takes a long time before they are ready to be sold and the entire time you have to be feeding and changing water on these fish. The food and salt costs alone would be quite high. Then comes the problem with selling the fish. Most fish stores won't take them from local hobbyists because of how common and popular they are in the hobby. I don't mean to discourage you from trying something new, but its not as easy a task as some people assume.

Hmmm, I will have to keep these points in mind. I am retired though so I will be home all day if need be. I also have a 3 gallon JBJ Picotope sitting empty so myabe that will work, but I don't wanna get to far ahead.

These pics (2wks and 6wks) are Female Orange Ocellaris and Male Black Ocellaris. Some have more black than others (Fins here and there) but most all have a darker rear end. I wish I could get better pics, one is after lights out, but they never stop moving.
