I have a pair of black and white Ocellaris that I've had about a year. I noticed spawning behavior a couple of weeks ago but no eggs, and tonight they are spawning again. The larger one (female) has the ovipositor extended and the smaller one (male) follows behind and seems to be fertilizing the eggs. Now I'm wondering if they are both female and laying eggs. (I cannot see any eggs - they are under a rock and not easy to see.) The smaller one also
seems to have a very small tube extending from him. Could that be normal if it's a male? They have been together, sleep together, etc. for a long time and I have always thought they were male and female, but now am beginning to wonder. Never any fighting even in the beginning. Anyone have any ideas? Would appreciate your input.
Thanks.
