Clownfish Treatment

Ok i just got done quarantining my Lemon Peel Tang prophylatically with prazipro and cupramine. No i have a pair of Occelaris Clownfish and unsure what i should treat them with?

Are they different then tangs do they need something other then prazipro and Cupramine?

They seem very healthy and are eating like pigs. Any suggestions on meds and how to quarantine clowns would be great thank.....

Without knowing any details on your QT other than the medication you use - Clownfish are fine to b treated with those medications as well. You could add a formalin dip to make sure you were safe against brook (aka Clownfish disease, but it can affect all fish).

I have been really pleased with the Ruby Reef line of medications. But I also agree with dweber618.

With clownfish I would always do a formalin dip to kill off any Brooklynella they might have (they can have an infection without showing!).
After that I would just put them in observation QT for 2 months.

Since you have a tang you may want to put them through TTM at some point.
