Clownfish unusual behavior

My clownfish are going to this specific area and picking at it almost all day ,usually one clownfish stays in my bta but now it leaves the bta all the time .looks to me that there picking at nothing it's at the buttom of this rock .

She might be cleaning out a spot to laid her eggs. Will have to see

I just got these clownfish 2 weeks ago , but if she does lay eggs I have no idea what to do

Raising the larva clownfish is a fairly labor intensive process requiring live rotifers to be fed to the larva which aren't able to swim. Few aquarists try to save the larva in their systems and raise them opting to use them as food for the other inhabitants. If you want to raise them you'll need to set up additional tanks. I haven't looked but you should be able to find threads here and on line on how others have raised the larva.
