Anemone Show-off

Link to my tank from 2010, medium green Long Tentacle on left and medium/large red Long Tentacle on the right. I haven't had a tank for about 10 years at this point. The green was my significant anemone success story. I put it in the tank and it crawled into the rocks and disappeared, I thought it had died, 4 months later it came back out front and was about 2 inches in diameter and almost clear brown. With feedings and good light it grew to about 10 inches across in two years and colored up to a nice bright green.

All of these are incredible looking. I have tried several different species with no long term luck besides mini carpet nems, those took off and were always multiplying.

This current BTA i hope grows more and will multiply for me. I would love this tank to end up being strictly clown and anemone. I think I will try to reduce the flow some and slightly increase the light intensity. It seemed it's happiest under those conditions.

Anybody know a good source to snatch a couple more healthy anemone, like mini carpets or other small anemone?

Would also love to try a sebae again in my larger tank that has more intense light, but im worried about it having too much flow. I will be keeping a bunch of sps in that tank. So flow might be too much.

I was looking at my old pictures, I wanted to posted some picture of my Magnifica here.

Under actinic tank light, but with 100 Watts of 6000K flood light shine right on it. Blasted with light. These flood lights are Home Depo lights that are about 8 inches above the water and the anemone is 6 inches below the water.
