clownfish with cloudy eye

Avian

My female black ocellaris has developed a cloudy eye. The last time I saw here before today, her eyes were clear, but after I got back from orlando it seems that one of them has clouded up. It is not raised by any means.

I have had her for over a year now and about 6 months in the current system, and have had no problems. She is acting just as normal as ever (i.e., displaying her dominance over her male, etc.) She eats as well as the day I brought her home. I have not added any fish in 5 months. Only other fish in the tank are her black ocellaris male and a rainsford goby. Tank is 55g w/ 10g sump/fuge.

tank parameters:
Amm: 0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:0
salinity: 1.025
temp: 79-80

I have a rather large RBTA and several SPS pieces that are doing quite well, so water quality is probably not the issue.

Could this be a result of an injury taht will heal on its own, or is there something I need to do? Thanks.

She may have just bumped her eye on something and injured it--sometimes this can cause coudiness or bulging IME. I've also seen cloudy eyes with severe brook infections, but that's probably (and hopefully) not what you have. In either case, the eye should recover in a few days once the fish doesn't have any other stresses. HTH

brook is out of the question, since I've had her for a year and the last fish I added (rainsford goby) went through quarantine and was added about 4 months ago. The tank is low bio-load.

I suspected she bumped it on a rock since the pair has been furiously cleaning rock.

So she'll heal up?

update:

I have concluded that she scratched her eye since it is fully clear and back to normal as of yesterday. I took no action other than close observation. Thanks to all that helped.
