One of my little percula clown jumped out of the water when i wasn't home and died... so sad :(

I am planning to get a new one so they can "hang out" together. How big should I get the new one, considering that the one I currently have is about 1 3/4"?

Same size? Bigger? WAY smaller (my FLSs have babies only - tiny - not sure if it's a good idea).

Thank you :D

I put a baby once with a full grown female clarki. One bite would have been half it's body. I put it in and there was instant friendship. She never bit him once but to my surprise she protected him instead. She was very aggressive and I was worried that she'd kill him in seconds.
Generally you will find that they will fight more if a similarly sized clown comes into their territory. They don't like a challenger in their territory. The bigger the difference in size, the less likely they are to challenge one another.

Here they are :D

Very nice. Good coloration on those guys. I replaced my 13 year old ocellaris male a few months ago.
