Clowns don't wanna eat much

Ok. So I've had 1 clown for a little under a year. Picked up a 2nd a week or 2 ago. They have since luckily bonded so no issues there. I've always had a problem that my original clown doesn't eat much. I usually feed him pellets, flake food, and will eat a couple but after that swims up to them, looks at it and doesn't eat it. So last week since I decided I wanna try my hand and breeding and read they need to be fed well picked up about 12 different frozen foods. Rotifiers, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, baby brine shrimp, bloodworms, mini bloodworms, spirunla brine shrimp, reef diet, cyclopleeze, and a few other misc ones I can't remember off the top of my head. I've tried just about all of them now and its the same deal, take a few bites, and after that they swim around like crazy looking at everything, but never seem to find one they wanna eat. Any ideas?

Welcome to the club.
My percula behave pretty much the same - their favorite food are small Hikkari Marine pellets and live tigger pods and brine shrimp naupli.
They also take live daphnia but with less enthusiasm. Of live adult brine shrimp they will take one ore two
On frozen food they also take Cyclops.
If they are hungry they will also take some Spirulina Brine Shrimp.

They won't even touch Mysis, squid or any other frozen foods I tried.

Even of the foods they like they will only take a little and never stuff themselves like I was used to from pretty much all my previous clownfish.

The male is a bit better than the female but they are both so horrible eaters that even my mandarins can outcompete them.

Mine go crazy for prawn eggs and even steal it from my corals when I try to feed them this. You can find it as Nutramar.
