Anyone experience clowns fighting? I have 4 percs that have always been good twords each other, all the suddon last night, they started fighting. im not talking about jst chasing eachother around the tank, im talking snipping at each others tails. it really just 1 that all of the other clowns are picking on. I used to have 2 pair, but now its 1 pair and 2 that are getting chased.

I cant seperate them as in put them into other tanks, so what else can I do?

only keep a pair, thats too many in that size tank especially..assuming its the 38gal.. the other two may end up dead from aggression..

yeah, keep it to two, odds are that two have already paired off and they are the ones doing most of the bullying.

i come home to one clown down for the count tonight. but now, one of the clowns which I thought were paired is now being picked on.

could my female have laid eggs somewhere and she is being territorial? Ive never delt with a pregenant woman, let alone a pregnant fish. shheeeesh.

nothing is going back to the pet store. now I dont even know which clowns are the pair because the clowns in which i thought were the pair, one of them is now getting beat up. so I will wait until I have a def pair, and then probably find someone who will want the other clown.

and thats Jarhead. not Jar ;)

You'll see the pair sleep and swim together. You could risk stressing out all the clowns in your tank and risk disease if you don't handle the situation. Its not good for fish to bite at each other and cause open wounds.

all of my fish sleep together and for the most part swim together.

Like I said, the clowns which I thought were paired are the ones fighting. IM observing them now.
