clowns hosting a flower pot

I bought a terra cotta clay flower pot tonight because I read that clowns will like it. Has anyone else tried this ? I have a pair that is together at all times and nothing for them to host. If anyone did try this what cleaning methods did they do to the clay pot before they put it in the tank ?
thanks

I have not tried the terra cotta pot. Personally, I would try to get an anemone to host if you have the lights or a coral that won't be bothered by the presence of the clown. I have one tank where my Ocellaris clown is hosted by purple stripped blue mushrooms and white pompom xenia's. To me its the next prettiest thing to an anemone.

I use the flower pots. I just rinse it off once before dropping it in the tank. The smaller clowns like to use the hole in the bottom of the pot as a back door.
