Clowns in a ZeroEgde?

I recently purchased a ZeroEdge and realize I am limited on what I can keep due to the fact that some fish can jump over, but I was wondering about clowns? Perculas to be exact. I would put an anemone in for them so hopefully they wouldn't stray too far. Thanks?

Any fish you get can jump. Some fish jump to try to remove parasites, like Koi do.Some fish are more prone to jumping like Gobies, but with clownfish I think you will be fine.Get them an anemone, and see what happens.

The only part I would be concerned with would be the first couple of weeks they are in the tank -- just with them not used to the tank they could jump. Also, if there is any fighting b/t the pair in the beginning. I used to have a pair of B&W O's, the female chased the male out of one of my tanks twice.

OK, thanks guys. I just paired the clowns so I'll wait a month or two to make sure they are established.
Todd, is there anything you would recommend during the first few nights while they settle into the tank? I have heard a nightlight actually works with certain fish.

Yeah, I think any extra light in that room --- having it on when the tank lights go off might help a bit. And having some other light (( or daylight )) in that room on before the lights come on -- just so there aren't any sudden changes in light should help.

I know people that had zero edges... Jealous I am! But, the issue they had, was fishing fish out of the sump from time to time. Make sure your sump is fish safe, you don't want someone to find the return :(

I don't think I am going to risk it. I was considering either my spawning rods onyx pair or my picasso/ onyx pair. I would hate to lose either of them. Thanks for the words of experience guys!

just make sure the clowns you get are diffrent sizes (to reduce the chance of fighting) and if you do see any bit of fighting put a mesh or eggcrate over the top until they sort it out, no clowns fight for more than 2 weeks. i have never seen a clown jump but i have heard of it, i say go for it, and with a nem that would look great
