Clowns not eating

Hi,

I purchased 2 Occ. clowns 4 days ago at the LFS, and put them into TTM. Since I've had them, they have not eaten a thing. I've tried:
Frozen Mysis
Frozen Brine
Rod's
Bloodworms (LFS said they got just a few of these sometimes)
Formula 2 flake

I've tried adding selcon, and garlic guard.
I'm not positive if they were eating at the LFS, as they were in a large tank with alot of other Occ. clowns, so it was hard to tell if any in the tank were not eating. Nobody in town has live brine either, thought maybe something live would stimulate them. Anyone have any other ideas?

How is their behavior otherwise? Any rapid breathing, hiding or avoidance of light?

Behavior seems totally normal. No signs of disease, no rapid breathing, not hiding.

Could be the change in environment. Not much else you can do except observe and keep offering food. Maybe hold off on TTM until they start eating.

Ya, thanks Chris. I'll just wait and see.....tried krill and pellets and still no go.

Try offering some live brine shrimp.

How about Caviar / Roe? Fish normally don't avoid eating that.

I'll see if I can find some. Is there a particular fish-specific brand?

Any roe you can find at a fish supply place should be fine.

I'll bet there's some uber-rich person out there who feeds actual ultra-expensive caviar to their fish. Just saying.

did you ever figure it out? I am going through the exact same thing right now! I am on my third one in 2 months due directly to starvation. I am also in the springs.

Mine finally decided to eat frozen brine after about 7 or 8 days. Not sure why.... hope yours start eating!

My pair of clown was the same thing. They did not eat for 9 days, I got them at liveaquaria about 2 weeks ago (they look very healthy). All they did was swim,play with the food and spit them out. Now, they pretty much eat anything I put in the tank lol.
