These clowns paired up close to 2 months ago, shortly after introducing him. She was only a bit bigger than him but now she is big and he is the same size(looks immature). they have been in separable, living in their bta and the third wheel (b&w clown) had to be moved shortly after these two paired up. Now for the past couple days, he is hiding in the corners of the tank during the day and she swims up to him, lunges at him several times, make him show submissive but keep lunging before retreating to the bta. at night, he still 'sleeps' in the bta but as soon as the lights come on, he is out and to the corner. how long should I give this before separating them? do they need relationship counseling to work it out?
