clowns possible laying eggs???

Hi..I am new to this hobby..I have a pair of clowns....one of which keeps lying in the anemone the last couple of days......Is it possibly laying eggs??? Appreciate any advice...

they usally lay eggs under or on the side of the anemone

AS whiirly said, they would lay it on the rock near to the anemone (or any smooth surface you have seen them cleaning). They would not lay them in or on the anemone.

Hes Prob. just hosting. They won't lay eggs on the anemone but once you see them cleaning a spot on a rock you know they are going to be laying eggs soon. Let us know if they do end up laying eggs. How long have you had them?

My clowns have been "fanning" or digging a pit in their corner of the tank, and chilling out there all the time.

O.k.......what the heck, as I'm typing this they are both suspended in the water with their heads facing up and tails down and start to vibrate...then swim a bit then stop and vibrate....what the heck is that about?

Oh and the little clown (they were bought at the same time and same size but one is large and one is tiny, figured male and female). but yeah the little one is protective, bites the heck out of me everytime I'm messing in the tank with my hand.
