Clowns rubbing against sand & rock

I have 2 clowns that are my first and only fish in the tank so far. I did quarantine them 4-5 weeks before adding them to my tank. They have been in the tank for about 3 weeks. I kinda noticed them once in a while rubbing against either the rock or sand. They don't do it often and I don't see any spots on them. Anything to be concerned about??

If you mean fanning with their tail then it is normal.

It just means that you should feel bad for any other fish that try and go into that spot that they're fanning... it's THEIR'S now!!! D

I've seen the fanning. This looks more like they are scratching themselves againast the sand or rock.

my lawnmower blenny does the same thing but he looks like he's having a good time when e does it

Just keep a close eye on them, you never know. Its better to be safe then sorry, just make sure you give them a good look see everyday.

Its most likely just fanning.Clowns are aggressive fanners.
