Clowns tail disapearing?

Well how long does it take for fin rot to spread. Because about 10-15% was missing the second day. It seemed to stay the same, then a few days ago it was about 40-50% gone, how it looks now. If something took a chunk out of it, then it has to be pretty large, because it has not been a slow process. In a week it's gone from a full tail to what it looks like now.

Yeah, but it has not been a stable progress. It went from a little gone, to alot gone with no in between. And it started on the end of the tail, and moved in, like a bite. Not a hole in the middle like Tourkid's fish.

I had this happen to one of my clowns, and guess what? the only culprit was the other clown. I guess he was getting bullied around at first. tail fin grew back just fine.
