Clowns Twitching??

I noticed a few times my clowns will start twitching for a few seconds like they're having a seizure then it's back to normal having fun swimming??? whats up with that??

its normal. if you have more then 1 clown, it is a way of showing that is allowing dominance from the other clown

The one that is twitching is surrendering to the female. This "dance" is the male showing the female he is her B#$%&

mine do this everyone once in a while but when I first started noticing this the "female" started growing at a much quicker rate than the male.

It's basically the male clownfish's way of saying, "Yes, dear!"

But what if they both twitch. Like today when I got home and was watching them swim ( they looked like they was excited to see me ) lol but the smaller one the male started twitching then maybe 5 seconds after he was twitching the female the bigger one also did it????

I think clownfish are always better in pairs. Watching them interact and develop personalities is a lot of fun, even without an anemone.
