clowns

I have had my 2 clowns for about a week now. All they do is hide on one side of the tank toward the top.
They arent getting harassed too much, is it weird that they arent going all over the place?

I dont have an anemone yet, is that a problem?

They'll get better with time. Not having an anemone is not a big deal. I have two and only one of my clowns occasinally goes in it...and that's after about 8 months of having the anemone in there with them.

My clowns don't go more than 6 inches from their host. That's normal.

my clown only leaves his mushrooms to chase the chromies or to snap at some food. never more then 12 inches i'd say.
he needs a friend.

I would have to agree with the others, my 3 clowns don't stray too far out from their hosts(frogspawn and large colt coral) either except for food.

Mine must be weirdos...they're all over the freakin' tank all the time.

they're ocellaris aren't they?

Mine did that all the time, then one carpet surfed and I bought a perc to go with the ocellaris and now the perc plays in the anthelia and the ocellaris buddies up with him.
